ADVENTUROUS - SUTTON 2010 - Tall Bearded Iris Honorable Mention 2014 Hybridizer's Comment: "Excellent garden presence with intense coloration!" Yellow standards are slightly veined white and have strong serrated edges. Intense violet blue falls are veined light blue and accentuated by a 3/4" maroon red band. Blue violet beards are tipped yellow. Slight sweet fragrance. Blooms mid/late season. 35 inch stalks.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
