Big, blocky, ruffled and waved medium violet blue, with standards shaded cornflower, falls toned navy to marine blue. Slightly darker and more ruffled than its sib Merchant Marine. Excellent branching, eight to eleven buds.
Grows to 40" and blooms mid season.

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
