A very popular color, this is a rich concord purple, the falls just a tad deeper in tone than standards, and with purple beards tipped mustard toward the flower center. Wide, ruffled flowers – and plenty of them -- on well-branched stalks carrying 9-11 (on occasion up to 15!) buds. Easy, vigorous growth."

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
